Question: I want to Know Your Opinion on My Knowledge?
( Back )
Answer #1:
You obviously know a lot, and at a very young age. I would tell you to spend less time with things you can learn as late as college, but since you're aiming for more knowledge in this area ... I'll just pretend you are much older so I can tell you other topics you can cover without feeling sadistic.Stop learning those kinds of languages for now. Those are essentially object-oriented and either imperative or functional, and pretty much relaxed (IMHO). You can easily start off with these languages with just the docs and a good tutorial.
Try other languages that can force you into an entirely different perspective, like Haskell, Common Lisp (and without using variables), and Brainfuck. Get into programming paradigms and data structures. If you're interested, try out operating systems and networking. Check out CouchDB and SQLite. Consider artificial intelligence and graphics programming. All of these could be useful in networks and web, which seem to be your primary interest. The best list for other options, I think, are lectures from college professors that are uploaded online. You can go through their resources in detail or check the outline for something specific you could look into.
Also, no use knowing all of these unless you create something, a tool or a product, or even just a personal website. (Or maybe you already have these.)
I hope you do well.
