Question: people of R&S what would you prefer your kids learn?
( Back )
Answer #1:
Same thing I was taught. Sex education based on safe sex.Now it came two years after I was sexually active, but I was practicing safe-sex then too.
Answer #2:
Assuming i had kids i would have them learn anything they wanted to learn. If they didn't want to learn anything, then so be it - it's my kid and if he wants to do things the hard way then i'll be even more proud of him/her.
Answer #3:
I'd much rather they learn about safe sex. That's what I was taught at high school and I never forgot the message.Answer #4:
Sex education that is non-dogmatic and teaches both safe-sex and abstinence as viable options.Answer #5:
neitherAnswer #6:
I don't see the two as being mutually exclusive. And it's "patience" -- unless you're suggesting the hot Romanian girl INVENTED safe sex.
Answer #7:
'learning' is the process of reasoning from cause to effect. anything else is indoctrination. Some of it is to the better, most is to the worst, but it does not teach people to think, and thus is not education.Answer #8:
I'd have a school for boys only and one for girls only, and neither of them would know what the other was until after they graduated. Then they can figure out what sex is. And no phones, and I'd bring back the paddle.Answer #9:
Any kid dumb enough to accept the abstinence message doesn't deserve to be in the gene pool.Evolution works, why meddle with it.
Answer #10:
In a hypothetical situation, safe sex of course.Luckily the issue won't arise cause I'm not going to have kids.
Answer #11:
Of course safe sex and may we also include care and love or at least romance and kindness???The only problem people have is...what you said...who?...who is gunna explain it???
parents have a problem talking about sex.
Bar-o-matic...or the implant, increases the risks...condoms end both of those problems.
Back to sex...you put it on and then you put it in and then you pull it out???
What will you say? What words do we use?
I say we just talk about it openly and naturally as we do about going to the shops and cooking our dinner?
Why do you expect your kids to learn about sex at school from strangers?
Do you tell them to ask the teacher?
people are the ones who put rubbish on a persons mum.
So why don't the dads do it then if the female is not good enough, (after all, she only gives birth)?
i dunno where you live but most people are not being taught to go without in our society in this day and age dear?
Answer #12:
I think they should all do what my father did when I was 13 he sat me down and said "listen pup sooner or later you're gonna end up having sex if you get a girl pregnant or get an STD I'll kill you; if you need condoms I'll buy them for you" than he put a condom in my hand and walked away.Edit: wow a thumbs down? at least my father was blunt honest and to the point
